Approved Stallions - Unlimited number of mares can be covered.

Licensed Stallions - Can cover up to 30 mares.

Provisionally Licensed Stallions- Can cover up to 30 mares, must be seen again for permanent license.

Registered Stallions - Can only cover up to 10 mares and only those owned by the stallion owner. Registered stallions are for private use only and are not standing publicly at stud until they reach a Licensed level or above.
